Smoothie Updates

I have been more into smooth’n than juic’n lately, so there are no new juices to share.

I was out of town all weekend and unable to do any of it.  Cannot wait to get back to it!!

Spicy Chocolate Smoothie

If you like chocolate with an edge, this is the smoothie for you! Mine only had a slight edge, but you can go as far as you like with this.1 scoop veg protein mix
1 cup flax milk
1/8 cup cocoa
1 cup frozen banana
1 tbsp raw local honey
3 dashes from my cayenne spice bottle

Calories: 328

This is close to juicing but it turns out so much thicker in a blender because of all the fiber. Instead of water, I used tart cherry juice. It was good, but, because of the thickness, I would not recommend it as someone’s first juice. The Mix:
3 kale leaves 1 pink grapefruit no rind or seeds
1 tbsp raw honey
1 tbsp coconut water powder
1/2 cup tart cherry juice

Calories: 242

Chocolate Covered Blueberry Smoothie

My body asked for berries this day, so I tried something new. It turned out really nice but I think bananas and peanut butter powder will stay the smoothie champ for now.The mix:
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop chocolate raw veg protein
1/2 scoop raw veg powder
1/8 cup cocoa
1/2 tbsp raw honey
1 cup flax milk

Calories: 271

Adding Greens to Smoothie

 I took one of my favorite smoothie mixes and added a scoop of powdered greens. I had not been using because I was afraid it would ruin the taste. It did not! It tasted the same.

The mix:
1 scoop chocolate veg protein powder
1 scoop green mix
1 1/2 cups flax milk
1 scoop peanut butter powder
1/8 cup cocoa
1 cup frozen banana
