A couple of months back I had a purple sweet potato that was way past its prime. As I was walking it to the bin, I spotted a paper cup that needed tossing. I picked it up and like chocolate in peanut butter (old TV ad) a marriage was made.
Two weeks sitting by the sink with an occasional splash of water and it had become root bound. I walked it out to a corner of the yard and stuck in the ground.
Tonight I dined!
